MLBDC Magazine Feature: FREE AGENT TRACKER

Here's a look at just one of many features that will be included in the offseason version of MLBDepthCharts Magazine. The FREE AGENT TRACKER is sent out regularly in a pdf and excel version that is easily sortable by various categories. Included are a player's age, position, bats/throws, 2012 stats, 2012 salary, 2013 option (if applicable), MLBDC contract projection, actual 2013 contract after signing, and MLBDC's prediction for where each player will sign.

The predictions have been sent out for the top 120 free agents. My prediction was right for Brandon League (LAD - 3 yr, $21M prediction; actual 3 yr, $22.5M) and wrong for Jake Peavy (TEX - 3 yr, $39M prediction; actual 2 yr, $29M plus vesting option w/CWS).
