You can remove Cardenas from the 40 man Minor Leaguers list.
Why is that?
not sure why they need to make a corresponding 25 man roster move for Bowden since there are only 24 players on the roster.

Is Josh Vitters the Cubs future third basemen? And do they wind up trading Soto and using Clevenger and Castillo at catcher?
Not with the way he's playing this year (.597 OPS). Of course, he can get hot and change everyone's mind by hitting well over the course of 4-6 weeks.
Regarding Soto, I think the Cubs would be fine with Castillo and Clevenger behind the dish. Unfortunately, Soto's trade value is very low right now because he's not hitting.
Your missing someone on the 25 man I believe.
They traded 4 off the 25-man roster and only called up 3 so far.
