The FREE trial period for 'MLBDepthCharts Magazine' is coming to an end as I'll begin sending out features for the full digital magazine next week. I'll send out one last update early next week to FREE trial subscribers to help get you caught up.
Here is what the full version will cost you:
•'MLBDepthCharts Magazine' Offseason Subscription (January 3rd thru April 3rd): $7.99
•One-time purchase of latest update for non-subscribers (organizational depth charts not included): $1.99 (*ideal for last-minute fantasy draft prep)
You'll be able to sign up right here on the site early next week!
*Details for the in-season magazine will be available sometime in March. At that time, there will be a wider variety of subscription options available (full season, full year, monthly, etc.)
Since all the features won't be finished for another 10-14 days, the magazine features will be emailed to subscribers as they are completed, starting next week. You will not be receiving multiple attachments like you have been during the trial period. There will likely be just one pdf file attachment per email. By January 13th, paid subscribers will have received the following:
•ORGANIZATIONAL DEPTH CHARTS
Each depth chart will be updated daily and will be available in a printer-friendly format. Players are separated by primary position and include the following info: PAGE 1 - age, date of birth, bat, throws, height, weight, 2011 level(s), service time, first pro contract (drafted, signed as amateur free agent, international free agent, etc.), how acquired by current team, 2011 salary, 2012 salary, current contract. PAGE 2 – age, bats, throws, Baseball America organizational prospect ranking for 2011 (2012 ranking will also be added when available) , Baseball Prospectus organizational prospect ranking for 2011 (2012 ranking will also be added when available), 2011 level, 2011 stats. *INSTEAD OF EMAILING THESE, THEY WILL LIKELY BE ACCESSIBLE ON THE SITE WITH A USERNAME AND PASSWORD. MORE DETAILS TO COME.
•PROJECTED 25-MAN ROSTERS with list of players 'ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN'
This will mirror the team pages on the website except there will be additional info, including 2011 stats. I've had a few questions regarding projected stats. I will look into the legality of including them. If it's possible, I will definitely try and put together an optional version that includes 2012 stats projections. Let me know if you have any suggestions. I know there are a few out there.
•PROJECTED STARTER BY POSITION COMPARISON
I've sent out examples during the trial period, showing projected closers and starting shortstops and their 2011 stats, age, 2012 salary, contract, service time, and a list of potential closers and shortstops on the free agent market at the bottom of the page. There will also be one for C, 1B, 2B, 3B, CF, RF/LF, full rotation, and full bullpen. If a player is not the definite starter at a position, I will list some alternative candidates somewhere on the page.
•PROJECTED LINEUP REPORT
Projected lineups vs RHP and vs LHP for all 30 teams with 2011 splits.
•PROJECTED PITCHING STAFF REPORT
Projected rotations and bullpens for all 30 teams with 2011 stats.
•TOP PROSPECT REPORT
A list of the top prospects in baseball separated by position and sorted by ranking.
•ROSTER PROJECTION GRID
Quick glance at my updated MLB Roster Projection Grid.
•WEEKLY TRANSACTION/PROJECTION CHANGE REPORT
A list of each transaction with 2011 stats for each player and a short analysis on each move.
•FREE AGENT TRACKER
Updated Major League Free Agent List separated by position and sorted by fWAR. Players that are signed have been moved to the bottom of their particular section with new contract info. 2011 stats, age, and FanGraphs.com's free agent ranking.
•OFFSEASON TRADE TRACKER
I'll be keeping track of every trade made this offseason beginning with the Derek Lowe to Cleveland trade on 10/31. Included are 2011 stats, 2012 salary and contract info, age, and service time for all players involved in a trade.
In regards to how often everything will be sent out, it will likely range from 1-3 times per week until mid-March when roster projections begin to change on a daily basis. At that point, it may be 4-6 days per week until the season begins. My goal is to provide subscribers with a product that is constantly updated.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Clear, informative, simple. Like your post!
this looks promising,
What is the cost for the full season subscription?
Thanks
I'll have that info sometime in March. It will probably be $3 or $4 per month. Buying the full regular season will be discounted so probably around $14.99 if you make one payment for April thru September.
