It's been a good year for Yankees second basemen with Robinson Cano an MVP candidate and David Adams having a great season (.900 OPS in 39 games) with Double-A Trenton. Joseph, the starting second baseman for Hi-A Tampa, is no exception. The team's 4th Round pick back in 2008 has been on fire as of late, hitting in seven straight games, including an incredible four-double game on June 27th. He's been extremely consistent, hitting over .300 in April, May, and June, and is a .338 hitter with runners in scoring position. The left-handed batter, compared by some to Chase Utley with less power, profiles as an above-average hitting second baseman with good plate discipline.
