The best team in the American League last month...that would be the Toronto Blue Jays, who won 19 games and are just 3.5 games back in the AL East. Ironic that longtime ace Roy Halladay threw a perfect game for the Phillies in the same month. You can't help but think how good they would be if they held onto Halladay. The Oakland A's are the surprise leaders in the AL West despite numerous injuries to key players while the Twins are starting to separate themselves from the pack in the AL Central.
