Rich Harden is heading to the bullpen
absolutely NASTY lineup. especially with Napoli's HRs sprayed within
Who hits in the two hole if Young is traded?
Kinsler would make for an interesting look
That would also allow Napoli to get an everyday gig as a DH/1B/ rare C spots, knocking 25 bombs and providing protection in the 6 hole
Definitely would have Kinsler moving up and Napoli/Murphy hitting behind Beltre and Cruz if Young is traded. Could also have Borbon and Andrus hitting 1-2 but I think moving Kinsler up makes more sense.
i thought they said that beltre was hitting clean up because washington wanted a veteran hitter behind josh. and do you think that napoli will play when left handed pitchers are pitching?
Thanks for the tip. Looked up the article where Washington says that. He also said Beltre could hit 5th, depending on the matchup. I like Cruz' potential if he can stay healthy but it makes sense to put the veteran in between him and Hamilton.
And yes, I think Napoli will always be in there vs LHPs and should get some AB's vs RHPs, as well.
Any inside track on who would close if Feliz moves into the rotation?

Based on guys who have closer 'stuff', Ogando or Scheppers. I don't think either is ready, though. Lowe would be another option and he has some experience in the late innings. I'm guessing that the trade of Francisco pretty much sealed Feliz' fate as the closer in 2011. Maybe in 2012 if Scheppers and Ogando take another step forward.
Napoli and Murphy comming off the bench, does it get any better than that?
I thought Mike Napoli would start over Yorvit Torrealba ans I'd like to see David Bush as the long reliever.
This lineup makes no sense to me the way it is set up. Young in front of Cruz? and not it the 2 hole? Andrus not leading off?
Makes sense to Ron Washington because that's what it looks like he's going with. Like the idea of a 30-30 guy like Kinsler at the top of the lineup. Had Young at #6 after Washington said he would bat Kinsler-Andrus 1 and 2 but he's been hitting in front of Cruz. Maybe because Cruz was struggling. Will be interesting to see how long he sticks with it.
