I believe it's Lyon's job to lose, especially knowing that Houston is paying him 15 million over the next 3 years.

Yorman Bazardo will likely start the year on the 15-day DL, he is out of options.

In addition to Bazardo, Astros SS Tommy Manzella will likely start the year on retroactive DL.
He took grounders on Friday, but Houston manager Brad Mills said his starting shortstop is still a ways from returning to the team. "We're more concerned with Tommy's lateral movement and quick bursts," Mills said. "He still feels it a little bit going side-to-side. We might have to extend him a couple of days until he feels like he's able to do that. But his pain level is much better." Manzella has not played in a game since March 20.
Don't be surprised if Cory Sullivan doesn't make this team. He hasn't played well this spring, it's one of the reasons why Jason Bourgeois is still in camp.
Depending on who is placed on waivers in the next few days (out of options) a Mitch Maier, Fred Lewis, Wladimir Balentien, Eric Patterson, etc. could easily be plucked to fill that last bench spot.
